The Chiado Museum It’s localized in the historical center of Lisbon. This museum was founded in 1911, and reconstructed in 1994m under the project of the architect Jean - Michel Willmotte.
The Portuguese Art Collection, from 1850 to the present time, composes the most important national contemporary art collection.
The temporary exhibitions programme falls upon the essential part of works, artist and movements, represented on the collection, brings to Portugal international exhibitions which intersect the museum’s collection and presents works of international Contemporary artists.
